January  -

18 -     History at High Noon - 12pm – 1pm in the Old School Museum.

Special guest is John Curtone, Director    Jaffe Center for Book Art at FAU. Lecture is free, donations are welcome.


 19 -    Wine & Cheese Event  - 6pm – 8pm at the Butler House.

Meet & Greet the artist, Louis Mezian. Louis paints local Deerfield art and will be our special guest at this event. Sale of art benefits the Deerfield Beach Historical Society. Admission is $5 per person.


 28 - 29  -   Fesitval of the Arts on Deerfield Beach - 10am – 5pm.

Come out for two fun filled days of art and culture! Find our booth and stop in to say Hi!


February  -


  9 -    History at Sundown - 6pm – 7pm, Old School House, 232 SE 2nd Street.

Special guest, Laurence Stern on the Major Decisions of President Harry Truman. Lecture is free, donations welcome.


11 -    Black History Presentation  - 1pm, Percy White Library

We are writing Deerfield history, what’s your story? Come early, we will be taking oral histories at 11am.


12 -    YARD SALE  - 8am – 1pm inside the Chamber of Commerce Building, 1601 E. Hillsboro Boulevard

(across from The Cove Shopping Center). Space is available for $20, contact Carolyn at (954) 429-0378.
